UltiMutt RSQ is a Alabama nonprofit dog rescue working to move at-risk dogs to safety through transport, foster support, and adoption coordination.
UltiMutt RSQ helps remove the barriers that keep dogs trapped in shelters by supporting transport, placement, foster or adopter pathways, and medical needs.
We do not pull a dog from a shelter without a path forward. Every dog we commit to has a plan, and we execute that plan from rescue through placement and lifelong support.
Find a Dog in Need
We identify a dog in urgent need and evaluate whether we have the right plan, partners, and resources to move forward.
Pull With a Plan
We do not pull or tag a dog without a plan in place. Every dog we bring into rescue has a defined next step.
Execute the Freedom Ride
Once the dog is pulled, we arrange pickup from the shelter and begin the rescue plan.
Coordinate Care and Documents
We coordinate veterinary care, including spay or neuter, injury or illness treatment, heartworm treatment if needed, and travel documents as required.
Quarantine and Assess
We place the dog with a trusted boarding or foster partner for quarantine, observation, and assessment before the next move.
Prepare for Home and Lifelong Support
After care and assessment are complete, the dog is prepared for transport to a forever home. Once placed, we continue supporting the dog and family with decompression guidance, adjustment resources, and long-term relationship-based support.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
How You Can Help
Every successful rescue takes planning, transport, medical care, trusted partners, and committed support. If you believe every dog deserves a real path forward, there is a way to help.
